Scheme location to be adressed via HTTPS (de: Schemenstandort über HTTPS ansprechen)
Description
Software-Service John notified railML.org on 16.05.2018, 14:05:29 CEST:
Reason is the HTTPS encryption of the data transfer of the whole railML.org domain due to EU's DGSVO/GDPR.
Possible solutions:
- Change of parser/validator behavoiur
- Change of all XSD's since version 2.2 (affects 2.2; 2.3; 2.4; 3.1)
- Exception in redirect rule of railML servers (done)
Backward (railML 2.2; 2.3; ggf. 3alpha) and onward (railML 2.4; 3.1) solution to be defined by coordinators.

Solution for railML 2.4 and newer
Changed railML namespaces and schema file location for upcoming railML 2.4 version. In particular:
xmlns:rail="http://www.railml.org/schemas/2018"
has been replaced by
xmlns:rail="https://www.railml.org/schemas/2018"
and
targetNamespace="http://www.railml.org/schemas/2018"
has been replaced by
targetNamespace="https://www.railml.org/schemas/2018"
All other namespaces and URL e.g. of imported schemes have been kept unchanged.
