Radio system for infrastructure (de: Funksystem)

Radio systems for tracks

Basic type could be tOrientedElement with id, pos, absPos, dir and other attributes.

Different systems, which could be installed:

  • digital (GSM-R)
  • analog local radio (e.g. for shunting) de:Rangierfunk/Ortsfunk
  • analog distant radio de:Streckenfunk

Different bands:

  • 4 m
  • 2 m
  • 70 cm

Accordingly different frequencies, they typically aren't officially announced. Following data are from an url, where somebody published scanned frequencies. They only show the rough range of frequencies:

  • 68,690 .. 81,310 MHz
  • 146,390 .. 171,310 MHz
  • 458,100 .. 467,550 MHz

Regional defined channels:

  • group name with number
  • group name without number

Both, analog as well as digital radio systems are country specific:

  • country code

There are possibilities for radio system definition in rollingstock elements. Maybe some of its data could be reused. Maybe some of the new infrastructure data may flow into rollingstock definitions.
