Standard braking distance at a line

Discription

The railML 3 data model is missing a place to model the standard braking distance at a railway line. This distance is required for placing signals at the right locations (distant signal distance)

Proposed solution railML 3.2

Introduce new optional attribute @signalledBrakingDistance of type tLengthM in element <linePerformance> to describe the standard braking distance at the railway line.
