Signal characteristics (de: Signaleigenschaften)

Description

The element signal may be enhanced by a number of characteristics.

The current attribute sigSystem has to be clarified.

  • Volker Knollmann raised this issue on a wiki page: "Something like, Ks, H/V, ..."

Proposed solution for railML 2.4

If the attribute is not used and not requested by the community, it may be declared DEPRECATED with version 2.4.

Based on community feedback in forum the attribute @sigSystem has been marked DEPERCATED.

Proposed solution for railML 3.x

The detailed description of the signalling system shall be handled together with the interlocking schema in railML 3.x.
