Loading gauge profiles

Description

The current implementation of <loadingGauge> misses static and kinematic reference profiles.

Background

The discussion was initiated in the railML working group dealing with the ETCS use case (see [https://wiki3.railml.org/wiki/UC:IS:ETCS_track_net]).

Proposed solution railML 3.2

Two new child elements shall be added to <loadingGauge>:

  • <staticProfile> with attributes @width (meters) and @height (meters) to describe the static loading gauge reference profile
  • <kinematicProfile> with attributes @width (meters) and @height (meters) to describe the kinematic loading gauge reference profile
